In practice, we rarely encounter the explicit requirement to design software architectures with environmental sustainability in mind.
However, the growing impact of human-induced climate change makes it clear that contributing to climate protection is no longer optional.This talk explores how Green IT, sustainability, and environmental compatibility can be naturally integrated into the architecture development process.
We’ll look at ways to sustainably transform existing systems and highlight approaches for designing new software architectures with environmental awareness from the start.Additionally, we’ll examine organizational aspects that can support the development of greener software architectures.
